Beneath the ~15 m structure lies a 700 m\u00b2 reflection pond that acts like a mirror, doubling the landmark in the water for a striking, shimmering effect.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"42:1-42:377;3376-3752\">The whole thing is made from 4-5 year old Tam Vong bamboo, a strong, straight variety from southeastern Vietnam prized for its durability and bending strength.
