This pagoda was built to serve both the religious needs of the local people and the tourism industry of Kien Giang Province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With funding of over 100 billion VND raised from philanthropists and businesses, Ho Quoc Pagoda features architecture that is somewhat different from other Truc Lam Zen Monasteries in Vietnam. It is constructed entirely from precious ironwood, which results in a lower height compared to other structures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nestled between majestic mountains and forests, visitors to Ho Quoc Pagoda will experience the peacefulness, serenity, and picturesque beauty of the site. Visitors to the pagoda will be amazed by its grandeur and magnificence, with a spacious and airy campus. To date, the pagoda has been renovated twice, in 1924 and 1960.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outside the pagoda is a wall with a Tam Quan gate covered with wave-shaped tiles, decorated with beautiful dragon and phoenix motifs. In the middle of the courtyard is a statue of Bodhisattva Quan Am standing on a pond.
