SIGHTSEEING SPOTS
Sunset Sanato:
With its picturesque location amidst mountains and facing the water, Sunset Sanato is the ultimate destination for sea lovers and those who enjoy living vicariously. It offers numerous picture-perfect spots for capturing unforgettable moments. Witnessing the sunset at Sunset Sanato in the evening is an incredibly marvelous experience, as it is one of the most beautiful sunset locations in Phu Quoc
The Phu Quoc Sim Garden
Present in many places, but Phu Quoc sim still remains something very strange and unique. Phu Quoc sim grows in clusters ranging from 1-3m tall, with brown-yellowish trunks covered in a layer of smooth fur all around. As they age, Phu Quoc sim trunks turn dark brown with cracks on them. Phu Quoc sim leaves have different shades of deep green on both sides. The sim flowers have a light purple color, while the sim fruit is darker purple. Ripe sim fruit has a sweet taste, with a fragrant hill forest aroma accompanied by a slight bitterness. Because of this, Phu Quoc sim wine also has a special taste, becoming a well-known specialty of this island region.
Dinh Cau Phu Quoc
Dinh Cau is one of the oldest spiritual landmarks in Phu Quoc. Its unique location on a rocky promontory facing the sea makes it a significant site for the local islanders, particularly fishermen, who pray for favorable weather and abundant catches. Visitors to Phu Quoc in the lunar month of October can witness the Le Via Cau festival, held on the 15th and 16th of the 10th lunar month, featuring folk games, cultural performances, and rituals such as Le Yet Cau, Le Chanh Te, and Le Nghinh Cau.
Dinh Ba Phu Quoc (Thuy Long Thanh Mau)
Thuy Long Thanh Mau (also known as Dinh Ba) is located just a few steps away from Dinh Cau. This is also a longstanding spiritual destination for locals. Every year, on the fifteenth day of the lunar January, the Thuy Long Thanh Mau Festival is celebrated vibrantly and meaningfully here.
Grand World Phu Quoc
When taking a 3-day-2-night Phu Quoc tour package, Grand World should not be overlooked. Despite being only 2 years old, Grand World has quickly become a top destination on Phu Quoc Island. Situated in Bai Dai, Ganh Dau, Grand World features a series of awe-inspiring architectures such as the Legend of Bamboo, Bear Museum, Urban Park contemporary art park, Tropical Dance Square, Love Tower, etc. The culinary world here is also incredibly diverse with Phu Quoc specialties like stirred noodles, seafood restaurants, unique street foods, etc…
Mong Tay Island, Phu Quoc
Nestled amidst the open sea of Kien Giang province, Mong Tay Island stands as one of the most beautiful untouched islands. With minimal boat traffic and scarce permanent inhabitants, the area maintains its mysterious, pristine allure. Mong Tay Island boasts expansive, tranquil sandy beaches, swaying coconut trees in the breeze, and clear, warm, inviting seawater, where even schools of fish can be spotted frolicking below.
May Rut Island, Phu Quoc
May Rut Island is truly a corner of paradise on earth. Its atmosphere blends majestic mountains and gentle seas, creating a soothing and harmonious environment. Visiting May Rut Island without capturing photos with its pristine beaches and rocky cliffs would be a great loss for both oneself and nature lovers.
Gam Ghi Island, Phu Quoc
Not as dreamy and gentle as Mong Tay Island or May Rut Island, Gam Ghi possesses a beauty that is “one of a kind” with its unique rocky cliffs protruding amidst the sea. The sea level here is relatively shallow, allowing you to snorkel and admire the naturally colorful coral reefs.
Sunset Town Phu Quoc
In the intersection of classical Mediterranean architecture and romantic sunsets lies Sunset Town, a charming destination increasingly beloved by the younger generation for its enchanting beauty. When mentioning Sunset Town, one cannot overlook its iconic Kiss Bridge, Clock Tower, the dazzling light show “Kiss The Stars,” along with vibrant fireworks displays,…
Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Ho Quoc Pagoda, Phu Quoc
Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Ho Quoc Pagoda, resembles a “fairyland oasis” amidst reality. The pagoda is constructed in the architectural style of the Ly – Tran dynasty, predominantly using durable aged ironwood, with a lifespan of up to 1000 years. One of the distinguishing factors that attracts many visitors to this pagoda is its location: nestled with its back against the mountains and facing the sea. From atop the pagoda, one can behold the stunning panoramic view of Phu Quoc’s seascape. During festivals, Tet, and full moon days, numerous meaningful activities take place at the pagoda, drawing not only locals but also many tourists keen on exploring spiritual culture.
Sao Beach Phu Quoc
When talking about a beautiful beach in Phu Quoc, many people think of Sao Beach. Sao Beach, surrounded by two hillsides, is one of the gentlest coastal areas in Phu Quoc. Walking barefoot on the smooth white sand, playing with each small rolling wave, Sao Beach is the top suggestion for “beach-loving children”.
