  • Initially, the pagoda was quite small and built mainly of leaves and wood. The pagoda was built in 1932 by a monk named Nguyen Kim Mon.
  • During the chaos of war in 1945, Su Mon Pagoda was almost completely burned down.
  • In 1955, Zen master Gia Minh passed away, monk Minh Uc returned here and rebuilt the temple. Today, Su Muon Pagoda is a famous spiritual destination that attracts tourists because of its peaceful setting, sacred space and unique architecture.

From Duong Dong town center, visitors can travel by motorbike or taxi along Duong Dong – Ham Ninh road to the West, then turn right and climb 60 stone steps.

In addition, visitors can travel by bus number 20 from Duong Dong bus station to Ham Ninh bus station then take a motorbike taxi or taxi to the temple.
