Bamboo Legend is a unique architectural work with the most complex structural design. The work is made from 32,000 bamboo trees – a record number, selected and assembled completely naturally.

The entire architecture is made of 4-5 year old Tam Vong bamboo. A type of bamboo typical in the southeastern provinces. This type often has a straight, long, solid body. High durability, good compressive and bending strength.

The entire structure does not use nails, screws or steel bolts for connection. Instead, the bamboo trees are connected to each other by 30-40 cm long bolts through the body. The joints are reinforced with a special woven nylon rope. This type of rope can withstand forces of up to hundreds of kilograms. Create connections and keep the structure stable.

To prevent termites, the bamboo trees are soaked in mud for about 6 months before construction. Soaking in mud also increases the flexibility of bamboo. After soaking, the bamboo will be lifted and smoked for 3 weeks. To dry and eliminate the smell of bamboo. This can be considered a “natural anti-rust paint” for this “green steel”.
